Evaluation toolkit for integrated health information systems
Purpose
The Evaluation Toolkit for integrated health information systems provides information systems managers with guidance and aids for developing comprehensive evaluation plans. Effective evaluation can help garner community support, lead to quality improvement, and contribute to project buy-in among an agency’s executive leadership.
Project summary
The Evaluation Toolkit provides tools and guides for evaluating the effectiveness of your integrated health information system programs. The toolkit’s products and resources are practical, usable at any stage of program development, usable by single system or larger integrated information systems, and not limited for use by child health integrated systems.
While the Toolkit is not meant to be a complete and comprehensive evaluation plan for integrated information systems, it does outline suggestions for incorporating evaluation into each stage of development and lists tools and guides that assist in the process of evaluation.
