This Web conference provided a preview of workshop on business process analysis offered at the 2006 NACCHO Annual Conference. Local health department leaders and Institute staff explain why knowing how your work is done is key to developing information systems that support the work of all public health agencies, and to improving quality and performance. Public health leaders tell how they used business process analysis to improve public health processes in their health departments. Includes demonstrations of context diagramming and task flow diagramming using an example everyone understands (ordering fast food) and a public health business process (immunization administration).
