This animation provides an experiential walk-through of the methodology used in the Common Ground collaborative. Using this approach, the workgroups produced comprehensive documentation of the workflows of chronic disease management and public health preparedness, and defined functional requirements for information systems to effectively support that work. The walk-through will show you how to: Use proven process analysis tools and methods to understand and document your workflows; re-design your tasks to eliminate inefficiencies and redundancy; effectively describe the ways in which information systems should support your work.
