The Public Health Informatics Institute recognizes the strategic priorities and broad range of functions being performed by public health organizations. We know that public health information systems must meet an increasing demand for information about community health and satisfy the need for timely information from an array of health care providers.
The Institute is experienced in supporting public health departments in defining an information technology strategy that can focus on the issues relevant to community health. We offer project experience working with public health organizations to help define the business case, outlining the costs, benefits, and efficiencies of a proposed information system.
