Informatics Academy

The Institute is widely recognized among public health practitioners and partners for our focused training initiatives and programs, building much-needed informatics capacity in the public health enterprise. Our training programs range from hands-on requirements initiatives, where participants learn to apply the tools and techniques of the CRDM; to the development of the competency-based Applied Public Health Curriculum, freely available to schools of public health for informatics certificate and degree programs; to the establishment of the PHII Informatics Academy, a scalable educational model designed to improve informatics capacity among the public health workforce.
